Il Museo della Carta di Pescia / Visite

Dear Visitors, 

Due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19 pandemic, tours to the Pescia Paper Museum will be organised according to the regulations included in the Coronavirus Emergency paper, which we recommend you download.  The regulations are applicable starting from Saturday 22 May 2021 and will continue until otherwise specified. With the confirmation of the tour, the paper will be considered read, understood, and accepted. 

Admission
Reservations are strongly recommended for the admission. Write to relazioniesterne@museodellacarta.org or call 0572 408432 from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. 
Admissions will be limited and last 60-minute time slots. The time of the tour will be communicated to you by email or by phone. 

Tours
Admission to the museum will vary as described below.

Opening hours
From 22 May 2021, the opening hours to the public will be as follows:

Monday from 10am to 6pm, with last admission at 5pm
Wednesday from 10am to 9pm, with last admission at 5pm
Saturday from 10am to 6pm, with last admission at 5pm

Itineraries 
Visit to the Paper Mill Le Carte and the watermark room Sala delle Filigrane of the Magnani Historical Archive
The proposal includes a visit to the restored industrial building and an introduction to the history of the Magnani family and its rise in the entrepreneurial landscape of the time. A visit to the Sala delle Filigrane of the Magnani Historical Archive is also planned.

At the Museum with Master of Paper
The activity includes a visit to the paper mill and after a pratical demonstration of handmade paper in collaboration with paper master by Impresa Magnani Pescia.

Duration: 1 hour and a half

Tickets
The Museum is part of the Italian Association Ente del Terzo Settore (ETS) and the payments are considered as free donations. 

Payments can be made as follows::

1 at the museum in cash using the appropriate Donation Box.

2 at the museum by credit or debit cards.

3 by bank transfer within 24 hours before the tour through the IBAN:

In order to fiscally deduct the cost of the ticket, the description must indicate "Erogazione Liberale” (free donation). 

For payments made by bank transfer or credit/debit card at the museum, a proper receipt will be issued.
